Goldblum & Hess has multiple openings for Attorneys.
Job duties are as follows: Applies knowledge of immigration, nationality and consular law to represent clients in the preparation of non-immigrant visa petitions, including F-1, H-1B, H-2B, J-1, L-1, E, O, P, R and TN non-immigrant visas. Prepares EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa petitions/applications, including permanent labor certification based cases. Directs team of paralegals and support staff on drafting visa applications. Gives regular status updates to corporate general counsel and HR managers on client cases. Conducts seminars, presentations and writes articles on immigration law. Uses MS Office. Works nights and weekends, as required.
Applicants must possess a Juris Doctor plus 18 months experience in the job, as paralegal or law clerk in the immigration field. Applicants must also be admitted to practice law before the U.S. Supreme Court or the highest court of a State, territory, insular possession, or the District of Columbia.
