Goldblum is listed in Best (Immigration) Lawyers in America for 2004, 2005, 2007, and 2008 and in Pennsylvania Super (Immigration) Lawyers for 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 (see www.bestlawyers.com and www.superlawyers.com). Jane is also Co-Editor-in-Chief of AILA’s leading textbook on PERM: David Stanton Manual on Labor Certification: Successful Strategies for Practice Under PERM, 4th Edition (AILA, expected publication date: Summer, 2008). This manual will contain Jane’s article “Special Recruitment Labor Certification for Foreign Faculty and Others Engaged in Classroom Teaching” and “Chart to Verify Alien’s & Derivatives’ Admissibility BEFORE Taking a Case”. Jane also authored a 2008 article for ILW entitled “Prevailing Wage Primer: Don’t Start a PERM Case Without It”. In November 2007, at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s invitation, Jane accompanied Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Commerce to China. Jane spoke in Beijing and Shanghai both on Immigrant Investor visas as well as Intra-company Transferee visas.

Since 1980, Jane has limited her practice to employment-based immigration law. Soon after graduating from Yeshiva University's Benjamin N. Cardozo law school, Jane joined Wildes & Weinberg, a leading New York immigration law firm best known for its successful representation of John Lennon. In 1981, Jane and her family returned to Philadelphia. At that time, she joined Dilworth, Paxson, Kalish & Kauffman, where for 6 years Jane led Dilworth's corporate immigration practice. In 1988 Jane, believing that the practice of immigration law, which is so personal, does not belong in a large law firm, joined with Wendy Hess to form Goldblum & Hess. For the past 20 years Goldblum & Hess has limited its practice to immigration, nationality and consular law. During this time, Jane has successfully represented universities, hospitals, research institutions, multi-national corporations, casinos, theaters, and companies of just about every size and type. Jane’s client base, like her reputation, extends beyond the Delaware Valley. She has clients in California, Colorado, Florida, Virginia, as well as throughout the Delaware Valley.

Jane is a past Chair of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association (AILA), has served on AILA National’s Board, and has served numerous times as a liaison with the Philadelphia offices of both the US CIS and the Department of Labor. Jane is also a prolific editor, author, and speaker, as evidenced by the sampling of her publications and speaking engagements listed in the section of this website entitled Publications and Presentations. Jane is on the Board and National Commission of the Anti-Defamation League as well as on the Advisory Board of Mural Arts Philadelphia. She is also a supporter of Dignity Housing and many Human Rights organizations.
